I can’t rate Katie highly enough. My arthritic spaniel Molly is doing brilliantly thanks to weekly hydro sessions. Katie is calm & patient & does everything with Mollys consent.

It’s not just about the swimming either, she uses a warm shower & various sensory equipment to tickle her feet to remind her brain they’re still there

Highly recommend if your dog is struggling with their mobility.

Lucy joined us today for her first hydrotherapy session on the treadmill to support her hip dysplasia 🐾

She was a little unsure at first - understandably confused about walking but not getting anywhere! But she settled in quickly and handled it really well. This is the first step in helping her build strength and support those hips over time.

A little late posting, but 16-year-old Rocky came in on Thursday for his first hydrotherapy session. 🐾

He’s not dealing with any specific condition - just some age-related hind limb weakness - and did really well with the session. We’re keeping things slow and steady to help support his mobility and strength.

🌞 Hot Weather Update! 🌞

Hydro is a great way for your dog to stay cool while staying active; however, to keep everyone safe and comfy in the heat:

🐾 Please wait in your air-conditioned car - we’ll come and get you when we’re ready.
🐾 Toilet walks only in the shade in the garden just before your session.
🐾 We’ll go straight into the air-conditioned treatment rooms - no hanging about in the hot reception.
🐾 Dogs may be left a little damp to help them cool off.
🐾 While we dry them, feel free to get your car cooled down ready for the ride home.

Flint joined us today for his first treadmill session following TPLO surgery 🐾

We’re starting gently to help him rebuild strength and confidence in that leg. He took it all in stride - a great first step on his rehab journey!

Meet Miz 🐾

Miz came in today to work on her gait following a spinal issue. She wasn’t too sure about the treadmill at first… until the salmon paste made an appearance! 🐟

We’re starting with short walks on the moving belt to help her get comfortable - no water just yet, but she’s off to a great start with her familiarisation sessions.

Another new boy today - Rupert! 🐾

He’s come to us for post-op rehab after surgery for IVDD and did fantastically in his first hydrotherapy session.

IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) is common in dachshunds because of their long backs. It can affect the spine and cause pain or mobility issues, but with the right care - including hydrotherapy - dogs like Rupert can regain strength and confidence.

A great start for this little guy!
