Staffordshire's First Canine Aquatic Treadmill
Introducing the aquatic treadmill as a new treatment option, here at Rosecroft. The treadmill is particularly useful for the rehabilitation of spinal conditions and dysplasias.
All service types are available on the aquatic treadmill, as well as the pool. Your Vet and Hydrotherapist will work together to decide which is the best treatment option for your dog.
Introductory Tour
A complementary 30 minute tour of the hydrotherapy facilities.
The tour will allow you to view the facilities, ask any questions you might have, begin to familiarise your dog and organise the paperwork required for your Vet (we handle this, don't worry!).
We highly recommend all new clients come for a tour before attending for hydrotherapy.
Please note that you can book your tour for either the treadmill or pool room (which have different opening times) - you will view both rooms during your tour.
Rehabilitative Hydrotherapy
For dogs with health conditions (either pre- or post-operatively) including:

General Fitness Maintenance
For those dogs who do not require hydrotherapy for a particular condition.
Swimming can add variety to your dogs exercise routine with great cardiovascular benefits as well as providing mental enrichment.
Choose to have the hydrotherapist shower and shampoo your dog post-session for additional £5.

Weight Management
Swimming is an excellent form of non-weight bearing, high-intensity exercise for those dogs who are struggling with their weight.
​We closely monitor weight during these sessions.
Choose to have the hydrotherapist shower and shampoo your dog post-session for additional £5.

Water Confidence/Puppies
Swimming is great for puppies as it helps to build muscle and strengthen tendons/ligaments without putting stress on the growing joints.
Puppies will be accepted from 4 months.

The pool environment is also helpful for those dogs who are not confident around water as they can learn to swim without fear. We also provide shorter familiarisation sessions if required.
